Paper pulp pump is a type of industrial pump whose primary material is paper pulp. The reason for this name is that the whole process of producing a pulp pump is to add water into the wood pulp and then into the machine to “pump” out—the exact time to remove water from wood pulp. The central part of the paper pump is the body. Most of it is cast iron, which can be divided into seamless steel casting and welded steel casting. The materials for industrial pump bodies can also be upgraded to stainless steel or aluminum alloy. The whole process of forming an industrial pump body requires high temperature, so usually, it uses forging technology.
An industrial pump is an essential component of the papermaking process because it helps remove water quickly from wood pulp fibers.
Those who are very familiar with the papermaking industry must know that equipment like screw extruders is used to produce paper and pulp pumps through extrusion technology.
Paper and pulp pumps are also used for excavating, transporting, and pumping slurries. A clean water supply is essential for any paper mill. Recycled water must meet the quality standards set by regulatory agencies. High-quality products are pumped for cleaning and transporting fibers for recycling.
Pulp pumps are used in paper production to transport wet pulp from various stages of the process to others. Pumps are used to transport pulp on a small scale or in large industrial installations, the latter often being large centrifugal pumps that can transport up to 2,000 cubic meters per hour.
